Updates on ice safety conditions at Lake Ellyn, Lake Foxcroft, Panfish Pond, and Sunset Park—relocated from Newton Park for the 2025/26 season—are communicated with the public through the District’s hotline at gepark.org/hotline. While ice conditions are checked daily, the hotline is updated only when conditions change.
