The Glen Ellyn Park District's Registration System is a Verisign Secure SiteFrequently Asked Questions When You Register Online

Is it safe to give my credit card information on your site?
The VeriSignTM Certificate endorses this site as secure. Your credit card information will not be available to anyone but our registration office.

How can I change my credit card number?
Log In and click Change Profile

How can I make sure I registered for the correct class online?
If you register before the lottery deadline you will receive a confirmation post card after the lottery has been run. Please verify this information.

If you register after the lottery, print your confirmation after your registration is complete.
Log in at any time and click on "Confirmed Classes". This displays classes currently registered, as well as a history of classes taken previously.

What if I forget my Password?
Forgotten your Password? Enter your Household ID and click the "Forgot Password" button, and the system will send you this information by email.

Can I change my Password once I have entered and used it?
Changing your password is easily accomplished. When you enter your Household ID and your existing password, click on the "Change Password" button. You will be asked to enter your old password, your new password, and then re-enter your new password for confirmation. Click on the "Submit Change" button and your password is changed.

How can I tell if a class is already filled?
If you enter the class code on the Class Search page, information regarding that class is displayed; this includes the number of openings for the class. If you submit a registration for a class and it is full, you will be asked if you want to be added to the waiting list for the class.

How do I get my name on the waiting list?
You must register and pay for the class to be placed on the waiting list. One week after the class begins, refunds are issued to those people on the waiting list who are not accepted into the class. It is a good idea to put your name on the waiting list; however, this does not ensure that you will be admitted into the class.

Why do I have to pay to be placed on the waiting list?
If you are on a waiting list and a spot becomes available, you'll be moved into the class instead of waiting to come back into the office to pay for the class. Usually you’re kept on the list for at least a week after the class has started. Sometimes participants drop out of classes after attending the first time. A waiting list participant can then be quickly moved into the class.

Will I need to come in and sign a waiver if I register over the Internet?
When you set up your family profile, you will be asked to read our waiver. You must consent to the waiver to be eligible to register for any Park District class. This consent means you do not need to come in to sign one at a later date.

How do I register for classes online?
To register online, click the OnLine Registration button in the menu above. You will be asked to enter your Household ID (choose a name up to 15 characters) and your Password (choose a password up to 10 characters). You may then log on or sign up. If it is your first time, you will be asked to enter your family's profile and payment information. After this is completed and submitted you will log on to register. If you click log on, you will be asked to select a household member and enter a Class ID. Information regarding the class will be displayed.

If you are enrolling before the lottery deadline you won't know if you will be placed in a class or on a wait list until after the lottery is run. You will receive a confirmation post card if you are placed in a class.

After the lottery is run and you register you will know immediately if the class is open or full. If the class is full, you will be asked if you would like to enter a second choice or be put on the waiting list. You must pay for the class to be placed on the waiting list. If information displayed is correct, click Enroll.

Class Availability
Before Lottery:
When you register for a class online before the lottery, you will not know if you are in the class until the lottery has been completed. You will receive a confirmation post card after the lottery has been run with confirmation of the class or to inform you that you have been placed on a waiting list.

After Lottery:
When you register for a class online after the lottery, you will know immediately if the chosen class is open. The receipt you receive when you complete your registration is your class confirmation. Please bring this with you to your class. If you choose to go on a waiting list, the program coordinator or other Park District representative will monitor the class waiting list. If there is room available in that class, those people on the waiting list will be contacted and enrolled on a "first-come, first-served basis". In other words, those names that were first on the waiting list will be contacted first when and if openings in the class occur.

Do I receive a refund if I don't get into the class?
If you did not get placed in a program and remain on the waiting list, refunds are processed after the first week of classes. Charge card refunds show-up on your charge card statement.
