Interested in learing how to play platform tennis at Maryknoll Park?

You'll have no excuse not to get outside in the winter for some fresh air, exercise and fun! Platform tennis is a unique American racquet sport enjoyed by people of all ages who enjoy outdoor activity, fresh air, competition, and social engagement during the fall and winter.

Maryknoll Park features two lighted courts with elevated aluminum decks surrounded by 12' high fencing that allows play off the walls, as in racquetball and squash. The court's base has a heating system that melts ice off the deck surface.

Platform tennis is the third phase of development at Maryknoll Park. It is funded by an Illinois Department of Natural Resources grant. Plans also include the development of youth and adult leagues, tournaments and social clubs.
