The Glen Ellyn Park District's Adopt-A-Park program utilizes partnerships with local organizations to preserve, beautify and maintain Glen Ellyn's neighborhood parks. From middle school and high school groups to non-profit agencies, we invite the community to work in coordination with the District to support this effort.

Danby Park to Receive New Playground!

Glen Ellyn Park District is excited to announce the upcoming installation of a new playground at Danby Park. In preparation for the installation, the playground at Danby Park will be closed beginning Wednesday, August 27. A new playground is scheduled to be installed beginning on September 8.

The existing playground will be donated to Kids Around the World, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and families who have been affected by war, poverty, illness and natural disasters. Danby Park will otherwise remain open.

Indoor Aquatic Center Referendum
At the recent board meeting, the Park District Board of Commissioners approved the resolution placing the referendum on the November 4th ballot.
